1. With reference to your application for the post of Probationary
Engineer in our Company, you are required to appear for a written test on
Sunday, the 4th July 2004 at 10.00 AM (Reporting Time: 9.30 AM ) at the
test centre mentioned below:
2. Please note the following:
2.1. Request for the change of venue will not be considered under any
circumstances.
2.2. The written test shall be of objective type for 2 Hours 30 minutes
and will consist of objective type questions in your discipline and
General Aptitude.
2.3. HB pencils/ Ball point pen (Black) should be used for answering
the test.
2.4. Late entrants beyond 30 min from the commencement of the test
will not be permitted to take the test.
2.5. Cell phones, Gadgets, Calculators will not be allowed inside the
test centre Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for
safe custody of their belongings.
2.6. This Admission Ticket along with duly signed photograph affixed on
it is to be produced at the test centre without which you will not be
permitted to take the test.
2.7. Admission ticket will be collected at the examination hall.
Candidates may take photo copy of the admission ticket prior to coming to
test centre.
3. Out station SC/ST/PHP candidates appearing for written test will be
reimbursed second class to and fro train fare by the shortest route
from the railway station nearest to their correspondence address to the
place of test centre, subject to the production of :
3.1. Railway ticket/ Receipt,
3.2. Attested copy of Degree or Relevant Marks Card (5th & 6th
semesters / 3rd year in case of those who have appeared for final
semester/Year),
3.3. Caste/Tribe / Disability Certificate, as applicable,
3.4. Those already completed the course should produce mark sheet of
last year / last 2 semesters. Those having more than 55% (SC/ST) and
60% in case of General-PHP & OBC-PHP only will be allowed. Without which
no reimbursement shall be made. It may also be noted that if the actual
discipline/degree of the candidate is found to be different from those
advertised for, he/she will not be eligible for reimbursement.
Therefore all SC/ST/PHP candidates are advised not to appear for the test if
the disciplines/degree certificate does not tally with disciplines/degree
advertised for. The to and fro fare thus paid shall be full and final.
Clarification in this regard will not be entertained in the test
centre.
4. Candidates short-listed for the interview will be intimated by
e-mail/letter.
5. If at any stage the information furnished by you is found incorrect,
you will be disqualified from attending the test. The decision of the
centre supervisor regarding admission of a candidate for the test is
final.
